Hello, I’m Jada Chavis. I’m a black woman artist who specializes in comics and illustrations. I create both original content and fan art. In 2017 during my undergrad years, I created my first ongoing comic called Luv Of Underdogs. In 2019 I graduated from The Art Institute of Virginia Beach with a BFA in Media Arts and Animation and continued my education at Savannah College of Art and Design where I graduated in 2022 with a MFA in Sequential Arts. During my grad years, I gained further knowledge in creating comics, storyboards, character/prop designs, and concept art. I also created several more comics both for personal and academic purposes. I hope to gain a successful career as a comic artist and hope to one day turn one of my comics into a series.
